Trama

Harry Potter giunge al suo sesto anno ad Hogwarts. Lui, Ron ed Hermione sospettano che Draco Malfoy sia diventato un mangiamorte, e stia tramando nell'ombra.
Viene ingaggiato un nuovo professore, Horace Lumacorno, che insegnerà Pozioni e non Difesa contro le Arti Oscure: la cattedra è stata assegnata a Severus Piton. Alla prima lezione di Pozioni, Harry entra in possesso di un libro usato, appartenuto ad un misterioso "Principe mezzosangue", e seguendone le note scritte a mano riesce splendidamente negli esperimenti.
Durante l'anno Albus Silente decide di raccontare ad Harry l'infanzia del giovane Tom Riddle, e dell'esistenza degli Horcrux da esso generati per proteggere la sua anima.
