Trama:
Daniel, senza più babbo e con una mamma che per lavoro è costretta a trasferirsi in California, lascia il natio New Jersey. A S. Fernando Valley Daniel s'innamora subito della giovane Ali, ma poi è costretto a sopportare le angherie del fidanzato di questa, campione di karaté. Il maestro Miyagi gli insegnerà l'arte del karaté e anche quella di diventare adulto.
