Trama:
Miranda è una teenager californiana che ha un padre psicologicamente disturbato il quale ha passato gli ultimi anni in un istituto di riabilitazione mentale. Miranda si lascerà trasportare dal padre nella folle ricerca dell'oro lasciato dai missionari spagnoli. Contro la sua volontà, la ragazza sarà costretta a seguire il padre, per non lasciarlo solo in questa pazza avventura.
